“Avô do Diabo” (Devil’s Grandfather) is a comic book concept about an anti-hero who frustratedly tries to save a city from all the evil that inhabits it. In this particular scene the main character meets his sensei and they violently fight at the dojo. A recurrent stylistic touch can be recognized in the deformed and wrinkled facial features as well as in the light and shadow contrasts.
